Mr. Varun Whig was appointed Vice President of Revenue Strategy in May 2023 at Capella Hotel Group, where he acts as the strategic business leader for developing a sustainable group-wide revenue management structure to support the company's vision.

Mr. Whig brings with him over 16 years’ of experience in Revenue Management and Strategy from his time at Marriott International, during which he held leadership positions ranging from single property to cluster and area markets. Prior to joining Capella Hotel Group, Varun served as Country Director of Revenue Strategy for Marriott Luxury brands in Japan, responsible for top line revenue across a diverse portfolio. Before moving to Japan, Varun spent six years serving as Market Director of Revenue Strategy for Marriott International in Mumbai, Bengaluru and North India; there he was responsible for all aspects of the discipline.
